 The Uganda Kob, or Kobus Kob thomasi in scientific parlance, is a subspecies of the Kob antelope that is indigenous to Uganda. These magnificent, medium-sized antelopes are distinguished by their reddish-brown coat, white patches on their legs and throat, and, in the case of the males, long, spiraling horns.  Savannas and floodplains, where they can graze on grass and other flora, are their preferred habitats.
