Fishing in Uganda is fresh water fishing. There are several Island locations where you can do fishing such as Bulago Islands but the best it still Murchison Falls National park. Here, you can spend Half a day or a full day fishing for the Nile Perch that are in plenty and quite big in size due to the fact that not many people fish in the area.
While fishing, take in the breathtaking scenery especially if you get the opportunity to fish at the devil’s cauldron just in front of the Murchison water falls. The sound and sight of the Nile crushing 40 meters from above is simply wow! You can get the fishing gear with the organizers or come with your own. So, whether it is a first-time sport for you or you are an experienced angler, fishing in Uganda is like fishing nowhere else.
