Game Drives

There are 10 National Parks, 12 Wildlife Reserves, 13 Wildlife Sanctuaries and 5 community Wildlife managed areas in Uganda. Game drives are a major activity in many of these protected areas because some of the National Parks cover up to 5072km2 and have wildlife spread out throughout the expanse of the land. As such, game drives offer the best wildlife viewing option to many of the land wildlife.
If you are looking for a fascinating activity in the park, a Safari game drive through the numerous designated tracks will to get you closer to the wildlife and allow you to cover the expanse of the Savannah lands easier and quicker. While on a Safari game drive, you will likely encounter herds of Buffalos, Elephants, Giraffes, Zebras, Antelopes, Lion prides, the solitary Leopard, the elusive Cheetah, Savannah primates, birdlife to mention but a few. So, gear up, put on your hat, take your Binoculars and enough drinking water before driving out to the wilderness to experience a Ugandan Safari game drive.
